The Royal Hospital for Sick Children
The Royal Hospital for Sick Children, fondly known as 'the Sick Kids', has been caring for children and young people in the Lothians and beyond for over 150 years. The Sick Kids Friends Foundation was set up in 1992 to support the work of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. The Hospital receives over 100,000 children through its doors each year from all over the East of Scotland.
They aim to raise in excess of £1,000,000 every year to support facilities for families, extra medical equipment, research and training and the provision of many comforts and entertainment for the young patients cared for by the Royal Hospital for Sick Children.
The Scots in Qatar Society, some of whose members have benefited from the good work of the Hospital, are delighted to be able to help and contribute to the financing of the Hospital.
